3 defensive free agency targets for the Green Bay Packers

Mike Daniels, Defensive Tackle, Detroit Lions

Let’s start this list off with a very familiar name in Green Bay. Prior to the 2019 season, the Packers made a tough decision to release star defensive tackle Mike Daniels. Now, they could use a player like him on the line.

Granted, there is a chance that Daniels would not consider reuniting with Green Bay after they cut him. However, if the Packers were to bring him back, he would form a lethal duo with Kenny Clark.

Daniels played in nine games with the Lions. He dealt with injuries all year long and ended up with just 10 total tackles and a sack. Bringing Daniels back on a short-term deal would make a lot of sense at the right price.
