3 defensive players the Dolphins can target at No. 26 in the 2020 NFL Draft

Zack Baun

As previously mentioned, the Dolphins were able to ink deals with Van Noy and Lawson in free agency. While both of them provide a boost to the pass rush, Miami could still use more firepower off of the edge.

After a season where they had just 23 sacks as a defensive unit (least in the NFL), someone like Zack Baun would give the Dolphins an immediate spark on defense. Throughout his time at Wisconsin, Baun showed that he can be utilized as a versatile defender in the NFL.

To go along with his 12.5 sacks, Baun proved that he can make plays on the ball, deflecting two passes and making one interception in 2019. Drafting Baun would give the Dolphins a smart football player that can be used in a multitude of ways — similar to Van Noy.
