3 dream trade targets for the Colts from the Browns

The Cleveland Browns have a ton of mouths to feed on offense while the Indianapolis Colts just lost Eric Ebron to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Sending David Njoku to the Colts makes perfect sense. Out of all the dream targets for the Colts, this is the most plausible.

Cleveland signed Austin Hooper to a big contract in free agency and they have Kareem Hunt, Nick Chubb, Odell Beckham Jr, and Jarvis Landry. With so many mouths to feed, keeping a good young tight end like Njoku makes little sense.

Tight ends usually take time to adjust to the NFL. Often the third season is when things start to come together. However, players need to get on the field if they want to show their talent. With so many mouths to feed, keeping Njoku would be a waste.

The Colts are transitioning more towards a run focused offensive attack and having tight end depth helps boost the run game. Tight ends also give their quarterbacks another security blanket. Njoku could fill the role that Ebron served for the last few seasons better than someone like Trey Burton.
