The Chicago Bears came into the NFL offseason looking some help at the tight end position. First up, they tried to sign Greg Olsen, but he chose to go to the Seattle Seahawks instead. Then, the Bears were able to snag former Green Bay Packers tight end Jimmy Graham in free agency.
Graham is coming off of a rough season with the Packers. He is no longer the superstar that he once was with the New Orleans Saints. However, Graham has a skill-set that could definitely help the Bears in 2020.
Matt Nagy runs an offense that needs a solid tight end to fire on all cylinders. That isn’t to say that Graham will put up huge numbers, but he is going to be asked to play a key role.
Chicago now has Nick Foles at quarterback to compete with Mitchell Trubisky. If Trubisky struggles early in the season, Foles will likely take over the starting job from him. No matter who the quarterback is, they are going to look to Graham much more often than he became used to in Green Bay.
All of that being said, let’s dive in and take a look at three way-too-early bold predictions for Graham with the Bears.
