The Buffalo Bills are aware of the New England Patriots entering a new era of their franchise. With the addition of Stefon Diggs by the Bills via a trade with the Minnesota Vikings, there is a real chance the AFC East will have a leader.
It seemed inevitable for the Vikings to move Diggs in a trade at some point but they wanted to avoid having to do it until their hands were forced. That ended up happening after Diggs used his social media platforms to voice his displeasure with the organization yet again.
The posts Diggs made on Twitter earlier in the offseason when coupled with fueling his desire to be traded mid-season were too much for the Vikings to overlook. This ended up presenting a prime opportunity for the Bills to capitalize and add a primary receiver they’ve needed for years.
It was a career-year for Diggs with the Vikings in 2019. He managed to haul in 63 catches for 1,130 receiving yards and six touchdowns in 15 appearances. It marked his second consecutive season with at least 1,000 receiving yards and raised his total to 23 touchdowns in three seasons.
With that being said, here are three early bold predictions for Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs in 2020.
