3. Gurley Will Get Back To Being A 1,000-Yard Back
Atlanta isn’t bringing Gurley in to be a backup running back. They are bringing him in to be their starter and somewhat of a workhorse. Obviously, the Falcons will monitor his knee health, but they are going to give him a bigger role than he had last season.
Gurley is going to bounce back with a big 2020 season. He will rack up over 1,000 yards on the ground.
The Falcons need a running back who can take pressure off of Matt Ryan and the passing game. Gurley is more than capable of doing that at this stage of his career. Atlanta will finally have a legitimate ground game once again.
