Some fans have been worried that the Packers made a mistake by letting Martinez walk in free agency to the New York Giants in order to sign Kirksey. Despite the concerns, Kirksey is going to silence the critics very quickly.

Martinez is going to fit nicely with the Giants, but Kirksey is going to outperform him. He may not end up with as many tackles, but he will have a better all-around season. Kirksey, when healthy, is a much better fit for the Packers.

Fans will come to love him quickly. He is going to slide in nicely and help solidify the defense around Preston Smith and Za’Darius Smith on the edge.
