3 early expectations for Laviska Shenault with the Jaguars in 2020

Shenault could finish with eight total touchdowns

Similar to most positions, it takes some rookie wide receivers longer than others to get acclimated to the NFL. As of this moment, it’s impossible to tell whether or not Shenault is going to be a starter in Week 1 given Jacksonville’s current wide receiver situation.

Still, as a second-round pick, Shenault figures to carve out a decent-sized role at some point in the upcoming season. Regardless of when that happens, Shenault should see plenty of opportunities to put points up on the scoreboard.

Even on a Colorado team that won just 15 games in his three seasons there, Shenault scored a total of 17 touchdowns. With a coordinator like Gruden calling the shots, it isn’t out of the realm of possibility for Shenault to contribute a total of eight touchdowns for the Jaguars in 2020.
