Just as expected, the Cincinnati Bengals made Joe Burrow the No. 1 pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. But after taking Burrow, they gave him another weapon on offense, selecting Tee Higgins with the No. 33 pick of the second round, which was expected for months.
Prior to being drafted by the Bengals, Higgins spent three seasons at Clemson. During his time at Clemson, Higgins was a big-play wideout that typically was the one that drew the attention of an entire defense.
However, in Cincinnati, Higgins is going to be joining a receiving corps that already features the likes of A.J. Green, Tyler Boyd, and John Ross. Provided that, Burrow is going to have a ton of weapons at his disposal in his rookie season in 2020.
As for Higgins, being that he was the first player taken in the second round of the draft, he’s going to be held to a certain standard as a rookie. With that in mind, here are three early expectations for Higgins in his rookie season with the Bengals in 2020.
