5 touchdowns
This past season, the Bengals averaged a mere 17.4 points per game on offense (third-worst in the NFL). Over the course of the 2019 season, both Andy Dalton and Ryan Finley combined for only 18 passing touchdowns.
With Burrow stepping in at quarterback next season, you would hope that he’s able to throw more than 18 touchdowns given the plethora of weapons he has. It goes without saying that Green and Boyd are going to be the likeliest candidates to lead the team in receiving touchdowns.
Nonetheless, the Bengals didn’t add Higgins to the offense for him not to be a contributor in the team’s aerial attack. While Green and Boyd draw the most attention from defenses, Higgins could round out a formidable rookie season by compiling five receiving touchdowns.
