3 Early Expectations For Tua Tagovailoa With The Dolphins in 2020

Starts Game One

No one but the Miami Dolphins knows for sure what they will do when the 2020 season kicks off in terms of QB play. However, the smart choice would be to play Tua Tagovailoa. Down in Miami, Ryan Fitzpatrick is a legend of sorts.

He took a team at the end of last season with no hope and made them into something special. In that regard, he deserves another shot. But the truth of the matter is, Fitzpatrick is old and his job now should be to help mold the next franchise QB. Although he did start 13 games and win five, he was just holding the fort down until the NFL Draft.

There was no secret the Dolphins were looking for their next leader so why should Fitzpatrick get the call again? According to reports, he’s completely healed from his hip injury, thus paving the way for a Week One start.

How may teams draft a QB with a top 5 pick and sit him? Let alone, sit him behind a 37-year old who completed only 60.4 percent of his passes while tossing 13 interceptions? The new era in Miami must begin now and not a year later or six games into this season.
