3 early goals for Eagles second-year running back Miles Sanders

The Philadelphia Eagles managed to narrowly win the NFC East during the 2019 season. A key factor in that success was the emergence of rookie running back Miles Sanders.

With a significant lack of production from the Eagles’ receivers, it was paramount they received a strong impact out of the backfield. Sanders answered by recording one of the more impressive rookie campaigns in team history.

Sanders surpassed DeSean Jackson for the most scrimmage yards by a rookie in franchise history when he hit the 1,008 yards mark in mid-December. He didn’t stop there as he ended with 1,327 scrimmage yards.

The next step for Sanders will be to build off his impressive performance and not allow himself to experience a sophomore slump. It appears he is set to receive the opportunity to do exactly that as he ‘is entrenched atop the depth chart’ at running back.

With that being said, here are three early goals for Miles Sanders for the 2020 season.
