3 early goals for Eagles second-year running back Miles Sanders

Exceed 750 receiving yards

One of the most underrated elements to Miles Sanders’ skill-set is his ability to make an impact as a receiver out of the backfield. He racked up 50 receptions for 509 receiving yards and three receiving touchdowns in 2019.

Sanders has already noted how he wants to continue to become more versatile like Carolina Panthers superstar Christian McCaffrey. Part of that entails being able to expand his impact as a receiver.

For reference, McCaffrey recorded 2,392 all-purpose yards last season with 1,005 of that coming from receiving yards. That level of versatility landed him a four-year, $64 million contract extension with the Panthers.

A mark that McCaffrey hit during his second season was 867 receiving yards on 107 receptions. For Sanders, working to also exceed that 750-yard mark should be on the list of goals for 2020.
