The Cincinnati Bengals made a major splash when they brought in LSU wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase to catch passes from Joe Burrow, and it’s a pick that will surely pay off for the team. Chase and Joe Burrow will get to reunite at the NFL level and his upside is now through through the roof.
Chase will join a wide receiver trio that includes Tyler Boyd, Tee Higgins, and himself. That is a very dangerous threesome and the Bengals’ offense seems likely to be fun to watch. Burrow is coming back from a gruesome knee injury, but he has all the weapons to put up massive numbers in his second NFL season.
Let’s take a look at three predictions for Ja’Marr Chase this season in his rookie year with the Bengals.
3. He Will Shatter Some Records For The Bengals
My first outlook on Chase is that he will shatter some records in Cincinnati. One of the first things that Chase mentioned is that he would re-write the Bengals’ record book from the wide receiver position, and I fully believe he is capable of doing so.
Chase is a high motor player who is self-motivated to succeed. His natural talent to thrive will allow him to shatter some records from the get-go. Not to mention, he already has chemistry with his quarterback, which is a major plus.
2. At Least 10 Touchdowns In 2021
My second prediction for Ja’Marr Chase is that he will score 10 or more touchdowns in his rookie season.
Chase is an end zone weapon for the Bengals to utilize and Chase’s chemistry with Burrow will make him a favorite target to throw to. He has electric speed and great hands, which will allow some great scoring opportunities from anywhere on the field. Don’t be surprised if Ja’Marr Chase leads the AFC North in receiving touchdowns.
1. Chase Will Help Lead The Bengals To A Winning Season
My final prediction for Chase is that he will help guide the Bengals to a winning record. I’m not saying the Bengals are a playoff team quite yet, but I do think they have what it takes to pull off a winning record following Chase’s addition to the roster.
Ja’Marr Chase is going to be a difficult man to contain, and he will prove that in 2021. This was a home run pick for the Bengals and will continue paying off for years to come.
