3 early targets for the Panthers at No. 38 in the 2020 NFL Draft

With the Carolina Panthers missing the playoffs in 2019, the need to add more talent to the roster became perfectly clear. Now, especially with the departures of longtime stars Luke Kuechly and Greg Olsen, things are going to be changing for the proud franchise.

Ron Rivera is also gone, as the Panthers decided to part ways with him. He ended up being hired by the Washington Redskins. Carolina turned to Baylor’s Matt Rhule to take over as head coach, which has brought a lot of excitement to the table.

Looking ahead to the upcoming 2020 NFL Draft, the Panthers will have opportunities to bring in a few key young players. There are plenty of positions of need. Carolina must nail this draft and can’t afford to miss in the second and third rounds especially.

Obviously, most teams get a decent talent in the first round. Those teams who can bring in instant impact players in the second and third rounds are usually the most stacked with talent. Carolina needs to make that happen.

All of that being said, let’s dive in and take a look at three early targets for the Panthers with the No. 38 overall pick in the NFL Draft.
