3 edge rusher options for the Rams at No. 52 in the NFL Draft

The 2020 NFL Draft is right over the horizon and the Los Angeles Rams won’t be on the clock until the No. 52 pick. With Dante Fowler possibly leaving in free agency, the Rams could look to find his replacement in the second round of this year’s draft.

While it could be more practical to select an offensive lineman at No. 52, Sean McVay and Les Snead could view the edge rusher position as the main priority. This past season, Los Angeles deployed a trio of Fowler, Clay Matthews, and Samson Ebukam.

As the season neared a close, Obo Okoronkwo also received some meaningful snaps in pass-rushing situations. Despite some fans being content with developing Ebukam and Okoronkwo, it’s likely that the Rams address the pass-rushing department this offseason.

Even though the likes of Chase Young, K’Lavon Chaisson, and Terrell Lewis will be off the board by the time Los Angeles is on the clock, there will still be some talented pass rushers available. In light of that, here are three edge rusher options for the Rams with the No. 52 pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.
