Vinny Curry
If the Cowboys want to find a formidable edge defender to pair with DeMarcus Lawrence, they could find themselves looking at someone that comes from the NFC East. Over the course of his eight-year career, Vinny Curry has spent seven seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles.
For the most part, Curry has been a rotational pass rusher for the Eagles, seeing a limited role in the defense, starting in just 25 games in his career. Despite having a limited role, Curry was able to tally five sacks, five tackles for loss, and 12 quarterback hits in 2019.
While Curry isn’t a dominant edge rusher, he is a solid one that could benefit from seeing the field more often. After facing him twice a year for seven seasons, the Cowboys know what Curry brings to the table.
Considering some of the other names that are still available, Curry might be one of the cheapest options remaining. That could lead Jerry Jones to target the veteran defensive end from the Eagles in the coming weeks.
