3 edge rushers the Seahawks could target at No. 27 in the 2020 NFL Draft

Terrell Lewis

The Seahawks have been known to take chances on players that have question marks coming out of college. While Terrell Lewis didn’t have any off the field issues at Alabama, there are definitely injury concerns.

In his first season at Alabama, Lewis sustained an elbow injury that limited him to four games. Then, in his sophomore season in 2018, Lewis suffered a torn ACL, causing him to miss the entire season.

Nevertheless, Lewis was able to return in 2019, recording six sacks and 11.5 tackles for loss. During his time at Alabama, Lewis flashed potential as an edge rusher, but he’ll need some time to develop since he was hindered by injuries.

Seeing that Seattle could use someone that could make an immediate impact, Lewis may not be the best choice for them in the first round. However, the idea of letting Lewis mold into an every-down edge defender could be enticing for the Seahawks.
