3 factors could cause Tua Tagovailoa to fall to the Chargers

Joe Burrow being a lock to go No. 1

There can be uncertainty at times for teams like the Chargers when it comes to the NFL Draft. There is clarity that comes with the No. 1 selection during a year with a consensus top prospect. That’s exactly the case during this year’s class with Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals.

There has been some speculation about the Miami Dolphins possibly being interested in making a run at the No. 1 pick via trade. That seems incredibly unlikely, but even if that did occur, it would still result in Burrow being selected at that spot.

With a legitimate need for a long-term answer at quarterback, there is little reason for the Bengals to consider any option other than selecting Burrow. The only other way is if they received an insane trade package to move down, but even then, a franchise quarterback can be priceless.
