3 factors could cause Tua Tagovailoa to fall to the Chargers

Redskins going with Chase Young at No. 2

Elite pass rushers are tough to come by and the Washington Redskins will likely get one with the No. 2 pick by selecting Chase Young. The dynamic skill-set he brings to the table would elevate the already blossoming defensive line by a few levels.

Earlier in the offseason, there was speculation about the Redskins being willing to take Tua Tagovailoa with the No. 2 overall pick. That dissipated after Washington elected to bring in Kyle Allen in addition to already having Dwayne Haskins at the quarterback spot.

If the Redskins have any potential concerns about Tagovailoa’s health, it would make more than enough since as to why a team needing a quarterback could pass on him. All while Young is available and would help immensely and the Chargers get one step closer to Tagovailoa.
