First up on the list, Minnesota Vikings free agent cornerback Trae Waynes would be an intriguing target for the Broncos. At just 26 years old, Waynes is in the prime of his career and could take the next step with a change of scenery.

Quite a few teams are going to have interest in Waynes. He racked up 58 total tackles in 2019 to go along with two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, one interception, and eight defended passes.

Those numbers show big-time potential from Waynes. Denver wouldn’t have to break the bank to sign him and if they’re aggressive from the get-go, they should be able to be a front-runner. Waynes would be an immediate impact player for the Broncos’ defense.
