3 free agent cornerbacks the San Francisco 49ers should target

As the NFL offseason is set to begin with free agency, the San Francisco 49ers are looking to make a couple moves that will take them over the top and to a Super Bowl win. They looked to have a good chance to win Super Bowl 54 against the Kansas City Chiefs, but Patrick Mahomes led an impressive comeback to steal the game away.

The loss showed the 49ers one thing in particular. If they want to win, San Francisco has to add more talent at the cornerback position.

Unfortunately for the 49ers and general manager John Lynch, they don’t have much money to spend. They are projected to have around $13 million to spend. That won’t get them an elite cornerback like Chris Harris, but there are still some good options for them to consider.

All of that being said, let’s take a look at three cornerbacks the 49ers should consider signing in free agency.
