3. Aqib Talib, Miami Dolphins
Some will look at the Miami Dolphins and wonder why they are listed on this slide. Even though he didn’t play for the Dolphins, Talib finished the season with Miami after being traded to them by the Los Angeles Rams.
Talib struggled with injuries for the majority of the season. He was only able to play in five games for the Rams before his trade and eventual shutdown. In those five games, he totaled 14 tackles and two defended passes.
At 34 years old, Talib is no longer the star cornerback that he once was. However, at a cheap price, the 49ers should still consider signing him and pairing him with fellow veteran Richard Sherman.
