The Las Vegas Raiders have a major need at the wide receiver this offseason that needs to be addressed. Mike Mayock has his work cut out for him, but thankfully, there are quite a few talented receivers available in free agency and especially in the 2020 NFL Draft.

Jon Gruden helped the Raiders stay competitive for the majority of the 2019 season. He is still an elite head coach and has proven himself to be capable of leading a team to the Super Bowl.

A new era of football is beginning this offseason and the Raiders are going to be aggressive so they can open it up strong. Playing in Las Vegas is going to be an interesting experiment.

In order to get back into playoff contention, the Raiders need to improve their offense around quarterback Derek Carr. Tyrell Williams and Darren Waller were bright spots last season, but they need more help. That is why going out and bringing in a receiver or two would be huge.

All of that being said, here are three wide receivers the Raiders should take a long look at this offseason in free agency.

  1. I love the idea of Robby Anderson. Young, fast and proven to some extent. Shouldn’t be too pricey! I’d love to see Simmons drafted and Juedy. In addition to current corps of receivers. I think we should keto Carr as our lead. He has the locker room and understands the playbook well! I’d love to see Mariota as a backup. Similar type to Carr.

  2. Lmao I’m a huge raider fan and this will absolutely be a dream scenario……not sure if you’re joking or not too much into the draft and how the free agency works . But Anderson note than likely go for top WR MONEY. That’s why the Jets probably won’t sign him. And as far as the draft Simmons will be a top 5 pick no way we can get him and Jeudy with the 12 & 19 pick we are lucky if jeudy drops to us at 12. But wishful thinking brother
