3 free agents the Baltimore Ravens can target to get to the next level

Yannick Ngakoue, Outside Linebacker, Jacksonville Jaguars

Ah, the former Terrapin comes back home. Music to almost every Ravens fan’s ears. I don’t think I’ve seen any other player linked to the Ravens more on Twitter.

Ngakoue has been an absolute stud since entering the league, posting 37.5 sacks, 14 forced fumbles, and two interceptions. He has been nothing short of consistent and would be a huge upgrade at outside linebacker.

With the rumors are that the Ravens are looking at flipping Matthew Judon for draft capital, Ngakoue would slide right into his spot and provide more value right away. I am a huge Judon fan, but he hasn’t posted consistent stats until the last year and a half.

If the Ravens can somehow keep both while keeping future cap space, then they must do that in a heart beat, but if they have to pick between the two, they should go with Ngakoue every time because of his ability to wreck the passing game.

I highly doubt the Ravens will choose to pay both and if they are able to sign Ngakoue and secure say a second or third-round round pick for Judon, which they could then turn into another young pass rusher, the team would be in a much better place going forward.
