The Cleveland Browns started the 2019 NFL season with huge expectations. Many were even talking about them as Super Bowl contenders. Unfortunately, as fans have come to expect, the team failed to live up to their expectations and ended up missing the playoffs when everything was said and done.

Baker Mayfield was a major disappointment in his second NFL season. Odell Beckham Jr. also did not live up to the hype after the Browns acquired him in the offseason from the New York Giants.

Now, the Browns are heading into the offseason needing to make some roster moves. While they need to add some new talent, they also need to retain some of their talent set to hit the free agency market this offseason.

Let’s dive in and take a look at three free agents the Browns must focus on re-signing this offseason.

  1. OBJ had a good season considering he played all of it with a torn groin muscle. You should have mentioned that instead of bashing him for under achieving. 74 catches fir 1000 yds is good considering the injury and how bad Baker played.
