3 free agents the Cleveland Browns should avoid this offseason

The Cleveland Browns are fresh off of another disappointing season in 2019. After receiving Super Bowl hype in the preseason, the team was unable to deliver results. They missed the playoffs and are back at the drawing board again this offseason.

Baker Mayfield needs to improve and the Browns also need Odell Beckham Jr. to live up to his talent. On defense, Cleveland needs more talent at multiple positions. It isn’t going to require a full rebuild, but they will need to re-tool their roster.

Obviously, the Browns are going to be an interesting team to follow along with this offseason. Spending money in free agency may be a legitimate option, but the franchise has to be careful.

All of that being said, let’s dive in and take a look at three free agents that the Browns must avoid pursuing this offseason.
