Finally, we’re going to add a bit of an intriguing third free agent that the Browns should stay away from. Brandon Scherff is a star on the offensive line and his talent would have no impact on why the Browns should stay away from him.

Quite simply, Cleveland should not be spending huge money in free agency. They can’t afford to keep trying to fix everything with big contracts.

Instead, the Browns should focus on building their offensive line through the NFL Draft. Cleveland can find a ton of talent on the line that can build alongside Baker Mayfield and become an elite unit. Signing Scherff would be a mistake simply because of the money it would take.
