3 free agents the Falcons need to re-sign this offseason

3. Justin Hardy, Wide Receiver

Justin Hardy is not an elite part of the Falcons’ offense, but he is the kind of depth that the team needs to retain. Julio Jones and Calvin Ridley are the obvious top two receivers on the roster. However, a guy like Justin Hardy plays a role.

Last season, Hardy ended up catching 19 passes for 195 yards. He didn’t score a touchdown in 2019.

Those numbers certainly aren’t huge, but he brings a skill-set that the Falcons need. At 5-foot-10 with the speed he possesses, Hardy could still be a very valuable piece for Atlanta. Bringing him back on a cheap one-year deal would make sense.
