3 free agents the Falcons need to re-sign this offseason

Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports

1. De’Vondre Campbell, Linebacker

Finally, and most importantly, the Falcons cannot afford to let De’Vondre Campbell walk. He is the most important player the team has to bring back.

Campbell put up massive numbers in 2019 with the Falcons. He racked up 129 total tackles to go along with two sacks, three forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, two interceptions, and five defended passes. Atlanta needs the kind of versatile linebacker that Campbell has become.

Not only is he a monster tackler, he can drop back into coverage as well. The Falcons cannot afford to lose the best player in the middle of their defense. Campbell needs to be re-signed without question.
