Next up, the Steelers could also be in the market for some help at the cornerback position. However, Byron Jones would not be the right fit. Even though he is considered the top available cornerback in free agency, his production does not live up to the hype.

Jones certainly has big potential to become a special player, but the Steelers can’t gamble on that. If they are going to spend money, it needs to be on a player that they know will perform well.

Pittsburgh should look for a cornerback in the 2020 NFL Draft. Or, they could try to find a cheap but good option in free agency like Bashaud Breeland.
