3 ideal fits for the New England Patriots at No. 23 in the NFL Draft

3. Jordan Love, Quarterback, Utah State

There is a very small chance that Utah State quarterback Jordan Love falls to the Patriots at No. 23 overall. However, there is a chance and quarterbacks have slid a long way in the past.

If Love is available for the Patriots to take, Belichick should strongly consider this option. Yes, Jarrett Stidham has potential, but Love shouldn’t be passed on. New England would have a healthy competition of young quarterbacks.

Last season with the Aggies, Love completed 61.9 percent of his pass attempts for 3,402 yards, 20 touchdowns, and 17 interceptions. He had much bigger numbers in 2018, racking up 3,567 passing yards, 32 touchdowns, and just six interceptions.

New England may not be prioritizing a quarterback, but if Love falls into their lap, the Patriots should take him.
