3 ideal targets for the 49ers at No. 13 in the 2020 NFL Draft

The San Francisco 49ers have positioned themselves nicely for the upcoming 2020 NFL Draft. After the blockbuster trade that the team made with the Indianapolis Colts that sent DeForest Buckner out of town, the 49ers now have the No. 13 and the No. 31 overall picks in the first round.

Looking ahead at the draft, the 49ers are going to have quite a few top-notch options to choose from at No. 13 overall.

John Lynch knows that his team is just a piece or two away from a Super Bowl win. San Francisco looked like they were headed for a championship against the Kansas City Chiefs, but Patrick Mahomes took over and led an amazing comeback.

Now, the 49ers need to add more talent to their roster and can’t afford to miss in the first round. If they can get two young players on cheap deals that can play an immediate role, they are going to be in a great spot.

All of that being said, let’s dive in and take a look at three ideal players the 49ers should target with their first selection in the first round.
