3 ideal targets for the Chiefs with the No. 32 pick in the NFL Draft

USA TODAY Sports

Cesar Ruiz

Following their Super Bowl victory in 2019, the Chiefs are given the final pick of the first round. The main reason for Kansas City’s success over the last two seasons is due to Patrick Mahomes manning the offense.

Mahomes has instantly become the face of the franchise and appears to be creating a lasting legacy already. But for him to remain upright, the Chiefs need to continue strengthening the offensive line.

More specifically, Kansas City could use some aid in the interior of their offensive line. With that in mind, Cesar Ruiz would be an ideal addition for the Chiefs. Ruiz is considered by many to be the best interior offensive lineman in this year’s draft.

Capable of playing center or guard, Ruiz would be a valuable asset for Kansas City’s offensive line. especially with Stefen Wisniewski departing in free agency. If Ruiz somehow makes it to No. 32, the Chiefs will have quite the decision to make.
