3 ideal targets for the Chiefs with the No. 32 pick in the NFL Draft

Jeff Gladney

Another cornerback that thrives in man coverage in this year’s draft class is Jeff Gladney out of TCU. Earlier in the draft process, Jeffrey Okudah, C.J. Henderson, and Kristian Fulton were considered to be the top-tier cornerback prospects avaiable.

But in recent months, Gladney’s draft stock has been gradually climbing. At TCU, Gladney was a four-year starter, evolving into a first-round prospect in the 2020 NFL Draft.

Throughout his collegiate career, Gladney deflected 37 passes and hauled in five interceptions. There’s no doubt that the former Horned Frog would be an immediate impact player for the Chiefs.

Given his recent surge on team’s draft boards, it’s unlikely that Gladney is available when the Chiefs are on the clock. Albeit, if he is still sitting there at the 32nd overall pick, Kansas City shouldn’t hesitate to select him.
