1. C.J. Henderson, Cornerback, Florida

Finally, there is one prospect that stands head and shoulders above the rest for the Cowboys. There is no question that they need some help at the cornerback position and C.J. Henderson is the perfect guy to give them that help.

Henderson put together a solid season in 2019 with the Gators. He ended up with 33 tackles, a sack, and 11 defended passes. While he didn’t record an interception, he did have six interceptions in the previous two seasons combined.

Standing in at 6-foot-1 and 202 pounds, Henderson has solid size and athleticism. He has the potential to become a true No. 1 corner, which the Cowboys need after losing Byron Jones. This fit makes perfect sense for both sides and it wouldn’t be surprising if this is the direction they choose to go at No. 17.
