C.J. Henderson
Again, the Vikings are becoming extremely thin at cornerback and could benefit from adding a surefire prospect in the first round. While he may not be on the board when Minnesota is on the clock at 22, C.J. Henderson would be a dream-scenario pick for them.
Ahead of the draft, Henderson has been placed anywhere from a mid-to-late first-round pick in mock drafts. When watching him play at Florida, it’s apparent why everyone is so high on Henderson.
Throughout his three years at Florida, Henderson notched a total of 93 tackles, six interceptions, and 20 pass breakups. Even though he isn’t the most physical cornerback, Henderson has shown flashes of being able to make tackles in run support.
Amid his time in the SEC, Henderson was excellent in coverage and displayed his ability to make plays on the ball in different situations. Similar to Gladney, Henderson is at his best in man coverage and would be a perfect fit for Zimmer’s defense.
