3 ideal targets for the Vikings with the No. 58 overall pick in the NFL Draft

K.J. Hamler, Wide Receiver, Penn State

Adding a wide receiver isn’t a priority for the Vikings this offseason, but K.J. Hamler would be a good move. He would be able to slide in as the slot receiver alongside Stefon Diggs and Adam Thielen.

Last season with the Nittany Lions, Hamler ended up catching 56 passes for 904 yards and eight touchdowns. Those numbers average out to an impressive 16.1 yards per reception. Hamler showed that he is capable of being a big-time playmaker.

Minnesota needs to focus on defense and their offensive line, but a talent like Hamler would be hard to pass on with this pick.
