3 Insane Numbers For The Ravens From Week 11 Win

The Baltimore Ravens are one of the hottest teams in the NFL currently as they pushed their winning streak to four games in Week 11 with a victory over the Carolina Panthers. Coming off of their bye week, the offense was stuck in neutral for a majority of the afternoon, but the defense was up to the task to keep the team in the game.

Lamar Jackson and company could only muster 13 points against a game Panthers squad, as the game remained scoreless right up until the final whistle of the first half when Justin Tucker knocked in a 32-yard field goal. Eddy Piniero made one from the same distance in the third quarter to tie the game up.

It would remain a tie until Tucker made his second field goal of the night with 8:27 remaining in the game. The only touchdown of the game was scored by Jackson, who had a one-yard run just over a minute after the Tucker field goal.

That was more than enough to defeat the Panthers, who gained only 205 yards of total offense for the afternoon. It was a truly dominating performance by a Ravens defense that is starting to find its stride and round into shape.

There were a few standout performers on their defense in Week 11 according to PFF. Three different defenders, Marlon Humphrey, Patrick Queen and Marcus Peters, received grades of 90+ in the game.

Humphrey recorded one interception and one pass defended in the game. He also recovered a fumble and had two total tackles. Queen led the team with 12 combined tackles, one of which went for a loss along with one quarterback hit and 0.5 sacks. Peters had five combined tackles and one fumble recovery on the afternoon.

The Panthers have struggled to find consistency this season on offense, as Baker Mayfield was back under center in this one. However, there are some talented players on the team as running back Dā€™Onta Foreman, D.J. Moore and Terrace Marshall Jr. have all had big games but were held relatively in check in Week 11.
