The upcoming NFL Draft will provide teams with an opportunity to add talented prospects to their roster. One of the names to watch at the cornerback position is former Alabama standout Trevon Diggs.
When looking at the top options in this year’s class for the cornerback position, it starts with Jeffrey Okudah with the consensus runner up being C.J. Henderson. There are still plenty of talented prospects that will potentially be available in the late first and second round like Diggs.
Diggs stands at 6-feet, 1-inch and weighs 205 pounds with 32 3/4″ arms and 9 3/8″ hands. He did not participate in the athletic on-field testing portion of the NFL Scouting Combine but he has earned a pro comparison of Aqib Talib and is touted as a ‘future starting press-man corner.’
During the 2020 season, Diggs managed to total 37 combined tackles (0.5 for loss), three interceptions (one touchdown return), and eight passes defensed. He played a pivotal role in the Crimson Tide’s defense during his four years with the program.
With that being said, there are three teams that stand out as ideal fits for Trevon Diggs in the NFL Draft.
