RB Alfred Morris (SF)
Reunited and it feels so good…
Alfred Morris had one of the best years of his career rushing for the Washington Redskins under Kyle Shanahan. Morris struggled to find success in limited work as a backup in Dallas, but looks to be settling back into a grove in San Francisco.
Now, back with 49ers coach Kyle Shanahan, Morris rushed for almost 5 yards per carry in the 3rd preseason game in San Francisco. With injury questions surrounding running backs Jerick McKinnon and Matt Breida, there’s a chance Morris could make an immediate impact starting in place of either of the two running backs expected to be in front of him on the 2018 depth chart.
