Coming off an up-and-down year in which he missed seven games, Chicago Bears linebacker Danny Trevathan could be a cheap steal in free agency.

Like Schobert, Trevathan has made a living being a utility linebacker who can contribute in a multitude of ways. He had a bit of a drop off in 2019, but signing him to a one-year “prove it” deal could motivate him to bring his A game in 2020.

The Giants could use all the help they can get at linebacker, and if they can snag Trevathan for cheap, there’s no reason they shouldn’t pursue him.
