3 potential linebacker options for the New York Giants this offseason

John David Mercer-USA TODAY Sports

Isaiah Simmons

With the fourth overall selection in this year’s draft, the Giants would certainly be in a prime position to snag this Clemson Tiger standout.

Isaiah Simmons is considered by most as the best linebacker prospect entering the 2020 draft. Some even consider him the best overall defensive prospect.

In his 2019 campaign, Simmons totaled 104 tackles, seven sacks, three interceptions and one forced fumble. For all intents and purposes, he’s a beast from the linebacker position, even drawing comparisons from Indianapolis Colts All-Pro linebacker Darius Leonard.

Don’t be shocked if the Giants pull the trigger on this young man when they’re on the clock in this upcoming draft.
