NFL Draft, Colts, Julio Jones

Green Bay Packers Target No. 1 — Julio Jones, WR, Atlanta Falcons

While this trade seems like something you’d see on Madden, the Falcons are open to trading their star receiver. Recently rumors of a trade with the New England Patriots have been circulating. The Falcons are currently 0-3, and rebuilding for their future could be possible.

The Falcons will be able to get a lot for Julio Jones. Adding a talent of that level would solidify the Packers as an NFC favorite, and possible Super Bowl favorites.

Adding Jones would make the Packers the most dangerous offense in the NFL with two top-five wide receivers in the same unit. Aaron Rodgers is already back in MVP form…imagine how he’d thrive with Jones inserted into the offense? The Packers should win a Super Bowl with all the offensive weapons they have.

While obviously trading Julio Jones hurts the Falcons in the short term, they will be able to build with the picks they get for him. The Falcons are going to be rebuilding. Getting draft picks who can fit the new coaches scheme would be ideal. There may be some changes to the Falcons in the future.
