3 numbers for Cowboys WR Amari Cooper to target in 2020

Matthew Emmons-USA TODAY Sports

Total 1,250 Receiving Yards

The Dallas Cowboys put together a truly impressive display when it came to moving the ball up the field using their passing attack. They trailed only the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in passing yards with Amari Cooper setting the tone for the receiving corps.

Last season, Cooper managed to set a new single-season career-high in receiving yards (1,189) and managed to rank eighth in the league in this category in the process. There still appears to be room for more volume with increased efficiency.

A lofty goal for Cooper to look to achieve next season is 1,250 receiving yards. This is a mark he has never reached during his career but he has exceeded the 1,100-yard mark in 2016 in addition to last season.

There were only three players that managed to rack up at least 1,250 receiving yards last season, but Cooper has the talent to achieve it, too. For reference, Those players included Michael Thomas (1,725), Julio Jones (1,394), and Chris Godwin (1,333).
