Jonah Jackson (IOL, Ohio State)
If the Rams choose to go the route of improving the interior offensive line with the No. 52 pick, then there could be a few viable prospects to choose from. One intriguing name that Los Angeles could find themselves selecting is Jonah Jackson out of Ohio State.
Before arriving at Ohio State, Jackson spent his first four seasons at Rutgers. But after transferring to Ohio State his senior year, Jackson became a name to watch in this year’s draft.
In his lone season as a Buckeye, Jackson exuded an ability to excel in pass protection. Also, Jackson’s mobility and footwork allow him to be a perfect fit for Sean McVay’s zone-blocking scheme.
Just to put the cherry on top, Jackson played center and guard in college, giving the Rams the option to move him around. Without a doubt, Jackson would be a home-run pick in the second round of the draft.
