3 offensive line prospects the Jets should try to trade up for in NFL Draft

Most scouts project Mekhi Becton as a left tackle at the next level, which isn’t exactly what the Jets are looking for, but his potential is just so high that it may not matter come draft night.

Standing at 6-foot-7 and weighing in at over 350 pounds, Becton is an absolute unit on the offensive line, and he’s shockingly athletic and nimble for his size. He ran a 5.10 40-yard-dash, which is remarkably fast for a man of his size.

He’s a mauler in the run game and his size tends to overwhelm speed rushers off the edge on passing plays. He does have some kinks to work out, like being consistent with his techniques and what not. But, the talent is clearly there and he’ll be hard to pass up if the Jets find themselves in a position to move up and snag him.
