3 offensive linemen the Cowboys could target in the 2020 NFL Draft

Matt Hennessy

While everyone is fixated on the depth of this year’s wide receiver class — and deservedly so — not many people are speaking about the depth of this year’s interior offensive line class. Given that, the Cowboys are going to have an endless amount of options to replace Frederick.

The one option that makes the most sense for Dallas is Matt Hennessy. Hennessy played his college football at Temple, spending his final three seasons as the team’s starting center.

When watching tape on Hennessy, he is extremely quick for his size. At the same time, he shows that he has enough mobility to recover when a defender initially beats him.

In an ideal scenario, the Cowboys want to find someone that can instantly step in and be a leader on the offensive line. With his polished skillset, Dallas would be hard-pressed to find a better center on day two or three of the 2020 NFL Draft.
