2. Henry Ruggs III, Wide Receiver, Alabama
Next up, we’re going to add another wide receiver to this list. While Henry Ruggs III is much less likely to be available at No. 23 than Justin Jefferson, he would be a huge addition. Some mock drafts have had Ruggs sliding to the Patriots.
Ruggs has received a ton of hype throughout the NFL Draft process. He has even been viewed as a potential No. 1 wideout by many analysis and scouts. If New England has a chance to take him, they should without question.
Last season with the Crimson Tide, Ruggs racked up 40 passes for 746 yards and seven touchdowns. He averaged a solid 18.6 yards per reception in 2019. Ruggs has deep threat potential and could be a lethal possession receiver as well, which would have to be interesting to the Patriots.
