Aqib Talib, Free Agent
Finally, the Seahawks could turn to a veteran for a one or two-year deal to help shore up the secondary. Aqib Talib is not the superstar that he once was. The Los Angeles Rams dumped him in a trade with the Miami Dolphins prior to the NFL trade deadline.
Talib only ended up playing in five games last season due to injuries and the trade. He had only 14 tackles and two defended passes. However, he is worth a look on a small contract.
Seattle simply needs talent in the secondary. They don’t need to add multiple elite players. Talib certainly isn’t elite anymore, but on a short and cheap contract he would be worth a shot.
